#WHIITELISTBuys - September & October

#WHIITELISTBuys - September & October

Have you been wondering how good actually are those lifestyle and beauty products pictured?
Do you love reading ‘empties’ product reviews?
Follow me on Bloglovin’ and keep up to date with the monthly installment of #WHIITELISTBuys.

This month will be a bumper post, as life had gotten away and more specifically work, and I forgot my own tips for balancing work and motherhood, and maybe should have written a post about balancing blogging, work and motherhood!

In my first ever #WHIITELISTBuys where I collected the used up products and empties from around the home for review; I met up with someone quite randomly who asked me if I really did use the Johnson’s baby oil to clean my slate tiles! I do, and I did!

This month we accumulated 18+ empties, although I am sure there were a lot more! I blame my husband who has this thing with placing everything in the recycling bin.

I have said it a few times, but for those of you haven’t heard I LOVE to clean! When I was pregnant, I was advised against cleaning due to the toxic and harsh chemicals, and the fact I am known to clean without gloves. It was then and in the post chemical free home cleaning that I really fell in love with Method, it has non toxic ingredients which still help to remove those ‘bathroom’ stains when you have reduced strength.

What’s that smell? It’s sweet water. Bar the fact that this has the most amazing scent ever, this triclosan-free natural hand wash, makes you want to wash your hands over and over again and was one of the 28 essential items to invest in for month 1 of parenthood.
Aside from the fact that it cleanses your hands,  it looks so stunning in the home!

This was one of the best sample pouches I have ever received. The hypoallergenic, phthalate and paraben free cleanser, lathers gently, rinses easily and doesn’t leave Chance’s skin dry. A definite must have for newborns.

When you have combination oily skin, you are always on the hunt for the wonder cleansing product. One of the 17 must have items for my cosmetic case, not only does it help eliminate impurities leaving you with fresh skin, but also doubles up as shower gel.

This is the husband’s hero product. Started off as mine, but my skin became extra sensitive so I had to adapt my skincare in pregnancy. Although he loves the citrus scent featured in August’s #WHIITELISTBuys, Mr. L loves the tingle of the peppermint.
The ultimate green, organic and fair trade product, I have used it on occasion to clean the bath, and apparently it’s quite the home multi-tasker.

Have you used this yet on that pesky spot that erupts during the day? One of the essential baby products for your beauty routine and most likely will feature in #WHIITELISTBuys for as long as Chance is in diapers as it effectively conditions my baby’s bottom and has helped keep diaper rash away. My only gripe is that we liberally apply this to Chance’s bottom several times daily and once it gets on fabrics, it’s annoying to get off, other than that, this natural ointment is one of my favourites!

I am well known for changing my fragrance upon my mood, and although I received this a year ago, I heavily relied on this sweet floral fragrance with woody notes to make me feel ‘ultra feminine’.

Can you tell that we LOVE Burt’s Bees in our household? One of the essential items to invest in for parenthood, this shampoo and wash is used by both Chance and I, as it lathers beautifully and consists of our favourite ingredient coconut oil.

I have spoken about this product in 5 posts on WHIITELIST, so it’s fair to say that it’s a must have in the Lindgren household. Read about it most recently here and why I love to moisturise Chance’s skin with this grapeseed and apricot oil natural formula.

Having never heard of Derma Mum, I now rave about it frequently, and wish I had found it in pregnancy. I noticed after I lost the 40+lbs that I had a few stretch marks / tiger stripes on my lower abdomen and these days after using this day and night, I feel the rosehip within the oil has helped to minimise the appearance. This won’t be the last time you see this #WHIITELISTBuy.

Childs Farm has been winning awards, lots of them! No wonder, it smells divine, has my other favourite ingredient after coconut oil, argan oil and is used by both mama and baby from head to toe.

If you don’t subscribe to my YouTube channel, go and do so immediately. I do post sporadically, but when I do post, you will see reviews such as the Boots Botanics All Bright range review and why you should at least try this cream if you are in search of skin that glows. It was one of my first videos (eeek!) if not the first, and I have heard I’ve gotten a lot more comfortable in front of the camera.

In our living room we have this Noguchi coffee table which is the least child friendly piece of furniture ever. Whilst I work hard to stylish child proof, this clean and green glass cleaner helps eliminate sticky fingers and spills, returning our glass table and stainless steel items, to its former shining glory, all without the use of ammonia. Amen!

Everyone should love Euthymol, I really don’t know why they don’t! It does have a strong spicy taste which I love, but my teeth and gums feel squeaky clean after use, it foams like nothing else I have tried and doesn’t affect any foods or drinks I consume afterwards. I have used it for the past 20 years and couldn’t recommend it enough.

On more than one occasion my 50 year old mother has been mistaken for my sister! Unsure whether it’s because she looks so youthful or because I look old? Either way I have been on the collagen boosting quest for a year or so now and recently discovered SunSense. Oil free, perfect for my combination oily skin, contains AHAs to keep fine lines at bay and most importantly broad spectrum SPF 50+ to protect my skin from sun exposure and premature ageing.

That’s it, what empties made your recycling bin this month? Which products haven’t you tried from the above?

Thank you for reading and please do follow me on Bloglovin’ to keep up with my #WHIITELISTBuys at the end of each month.
Thank you!

SAL xx
