April 2016 #FWIS (second in the series) post I'm writing as I look back on the past month, of my little corner of the Internet.

I posted 48 pictures on Instagram, tweeted 102 times, started following Barefoot Blonde and Deliciously Ella (my new favourite blogs) on Bloglovin; coordinated my Facebook with the Twitter and created a Pinterest page. Click on the links to follow me.

In the month that gave us the British Fashion Council and Farfetch partnership, the debut of the Dyson supersonic hairdryer, and HRH the Duchess of Cambridge unveiled as the cover star for Vogue’s centenary issue, it was a fairly busy month.  

Breakfast with Barry M: Barry M Coconut Infusion

I attended 10 press events including Wolford (see How to wear fishnets here), beauty brands Barry M for a breakfast to celebrate the launch of the new coconut infusion range here,  KIKO and bareMinerals (both posts will be coming up in the next couple of weeks on a Sunday), as well as Bloom & Wild, to celebrate their collaboration with Refinery29. 

Additionally, I took Chance to his first London Marathon race to see his daddy complete the course in less than 3.5hrs.

April seemed to be a month of giveaways, starting with the announcement of the winner for the Milestone Cards collaboration (here) Josie Selby, who also blogs at The Whimsical Adventures of a Not So Supermum; followed by a Barry M giveaway here and finally Merci Maman giveaway here. Congratulations to all the winners. Keep your eyes peeled, as I plan to have a giveaway at least once a month! Bloom & Wild Refinery29 in envelope One of my favourite events of the month was most certainly the Bloom & Wild event where I failed to make a flower crown and instead filled an envelope with the blooms, like my favourite Instagrammer Anna Remarchuk.  Chance and I also celebrated #RealNappyWeek with a post and some snaps in his favourite gPant below.

I have a very long to-do list and many exciting posts for you! 

You may have seen I gave the blog a little revamp to make it easier to navigate. There is now an FAQs section, so any questions that you have, I will try my best to answer and include them here. 

There is also a categories tab, so that you can find posts suited to your topic of interest, as well as the WHIITELIST ❤s which includes #TravelTuesday...and a brand new name WHIITELIST (yes 2 I’s) by Simi Lindgren.

I want to say THANK YOU to my UK, US and Aussie audience, TAK to the Danes, DANKE to the Germans as those are my top 5 countries visiting WHIITELIST, with top cities in London, New York, Copenhagen and Sydney!!!

I broke the 700 milestone on Twitter and 800 milestones on Instagram (I am overly social now) it's lovely to see over 50% increase in ONE MONTH for someone who isn't particularly social media savvy...I mean I just got Facebook and Pinterest!

You’ll remember, I was nominated for a MAD 2016 blog award, in the travel and lifestyle categories and put forward for the BiBs 2016! I was honoured and humbled to have been nominated, especially alongside bloggers whose blogs I actually enjoy, and I wanted to say a special thank you to all that nominated me, even though I didn’t get through to the finals. Maybe next year!
