#DressingTheBump My week in Uniqlo

As I am more than halfway through my pregnancy, my bump has decided to make an appearance!

I haven’t as of yet gotten my head around maternity brands but names are being thrown around at every opportunity…I have been advised to try Topshop maternity, ASOS maternity, Seraphine and Isabella Oliver but so far (being time poor) I have resorted to just going through my cupboard for stretchy items that will fit the little bump.
So the #DressingTheBump series started with my favourite Japanese casual wear designer Uniqlo.
Let me know what you think?
Day 1, I wore Supima Cotton Stretch Long Sleeve Shirt with the Ponte Pencil Skirt (in grey), both are made from materials which stretch, perfect for growing bumps as well as providing a feminine silhouette. Nicely finished with Christian Louboutin pumps.
Day 2, I wore Oxford long sleeve shirt with the Ponte Pencil Skirt (in navy), this was a more casual look for a Tuesday, with a slightly baggier shirt, fitted skirt (great for the growing bump) and the Jimmy Choo wedge sandals
Day 3, required an outfit that fit the humidity as well as the fact that it was also raining. I chose the striped ¾ sleeve dress made 100% from cotton which has a very straight fit, providing a natural but roomy feel for the day. I finished this look off with my very well used Chelsea boots from Russell & Bromley
Day 4, I felt incredibly optimistic about the weather, and loved the feel of the previous day that I wanted to continue on the striped high  with a navy and red version of the striped ¾ sleeve dress … unfortunately the heavens opened so it wasn’t exactly appropriate to be wearing Jimmy Choo wedges! Luckily, I was working from home J
Day 5, Happy Friday! I would love to say that I am exuding rock chick (it may be in my head)! Unfortunately whilst I wait for the heavens to open I have to add a very much loved Zara leather jacket to my Supima Cotton Modal Long Sleeve T-Shirt (grey),  Ponte Pencil Skirt (in grey) and Chelsea boots from Russell & Bromley
